65 Saudi Companies Explore Investment Opportunities in Azerbaijan and Georgia
A high-level delegation from the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) will begin a visit to Azerbaijan and Georgia tomorrow. The delegation will engage in high-level meetings with government officials and private sector leaders in both countries to explore investment opportunities and establish key trade partnerships.
Led by FSC Chairman Hassan bin Mujib Al-Huwaizi, the delegation comprises over 65 business leaders and representatives from various economic sectors, alongside government agencies. The visit is expected to result in important agreements and partnerships across various industries.
The delegation will kick off its activities in Azerbaijan with the Saudi-Azerbaijani Business Council meeting, followed by a Joint Business Forum and bilateral meetings between business leaders. Similar discussions will take place in Georgia during the Saudi-Georgian Business Council meeting and Joint Business Forum.
These events will focus on investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, emphasising improving the business environment and fostering partnerships across diverse economic sectors.
The Federation of Saudi Chambers aims to significantly increase trade volumes between the Kingdom and the two countries. Trade with Azerbaijan amounted to only SAR 50 million in 2023 and SAR 162 million with Georgia. This visit is expected to uncover substantial untapped investment opportunities.
